Competitive Pay Position will be for immediate start and conclude on May 26th 2023.
Possibility of continuation for 2023/24 school year.
Flexible schedule to be determined between client family and teacher.
Approximately 9-12 hours per week.
Preferred hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:
30am or 9am to 11:
30am or 12pm, 3 to 4 times per week.
Responsibilities 1:
1 teaching / tutoring of 9 year old child presently finishing 3rd grade.
Child is very high functioning on the autism spectrum and has ADHD which is managed very well.
Child is presently at or around grade level, is engaging and is very sweet in nature.
Home school curriculum is already developed with assignments, activities and exercises already laid out.
However, teacher input is encouraged and welcome.
Focus will be on core subjects of math and language arts.
Particular attention to writing proficiency is required.
Establishing rapport and leading activities in an engaging way is critical.
Teaching to occur at client's home.
Parent will be present in the home.
Requirements FL teacher's license preferred.
Experience teaching / tutoring professionally.
Experience working with children on the autism spectrum preferred.
