The Purchasing Administrator will be a vital part of our accounting team, working closely with the team to ensure Operations are fully supported.
This role will be responsible for reviewing purchase orders requests, issuing purchase orders and managing reconciliations.
Purchasing Administrator Experience Requirements:
2
years of accounts payable and/or purchasing experience Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills 2
years of experience with QuickBooks Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel (V Look Up, Pivot Tables) 2
years working with job costing systems and tracking Purchasing Administrator Duties and
Responsibilities:
Daily review of submitted purchase order requests Issuance of purchase orders following the approval matrix Update and maintain the purchase order scorecard daily Implementation and development or policies and procedures for various purchasing functions Development of Monthly KPI's around purchase order usage Perform daily analysis of financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing of various vendor invoices Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of issues Maintain and respond to emails in multiple accounts in a timely fashion within 1 business day for purchase orders Work with internal and external customers Set weekly purchase order meeting with members of management team and present various data sets Assist in reconciling companywide credit card purchases and expense reports with the expensing reporting system Identify new vendors for cost savings initiatives Work with existing vendors to achieve a higher level of purchasing discounts Other financial analysis as warranted Envirowaste has more than 20 years of experience in service, support, and consultation to the storm and wastewater infrastructure industry.
