Confidential Confidential Longwood, FL Longwood, FL Full-time Full-time $18 - $20 an hour $18 - $20 an hour Title and Title/Accounting Clerk A well respected automobile group in the Orlando area is seeking a Tag and Title/Accounting Clerk.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing documents related to automotive tag and title work such as:
liens, titles and overall accounting functions.
This position will report directly to the Controllers.
Responsibilities:
Process all documents related to automotive titles.
Process all outgoing and incoming dealer trades and wholesales.
File new/used deals packets.
Verify accuracy of information on title applications.
Maintain excellent records of all title transactions.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Perform data entry, filing and general clerical duties.
Reconcile physical inventory of plates.
Correct problems and rejects from counties and states quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Automotive dealership accounting and tag and title experience required.
Proficient in accounting functions such as debits/credits and possess basic math skills.
Proficient in Dealer Track and Dealer DMV a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to learn new software as needed.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
